company enabled seamless management and support of a mission
critical legacy application targeted for future replatforming.
The large and unwieldy application leveraged many legacy
languages, including Visual BASIC, COM, DCOM and C++. Once this
application was thoroughly studied, GalaxE created detailed
functional and technical specification documents, use cases,
business flows, etc., along with recommendations for performance
improvements. By utilizing GalaxE’s offshore capabilities, costs
